Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The college will resume regular hours on Monday, July 7th.
Students may still access online courses, register, make payments and manage other college business at myeagle.ntcc.edu. The second 5-week summer session begins Monday, July 14th and students can still sign up for classes.

Northeast Texas Community College welcomed a great group of incoming students to campus this week for the first EagleGanza event of the summer. The full-day experience gave participants the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, connect with other new students, and take care of important enrollment steps like advising, testing, financial aid, and registration—all in one place.
Northeast Texas Community College student Monse Rivero-Sanchez has been awarded the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees Excellence in Leadership Scholarship, a prestigious national honor that includes a $16,000 award toward her continued education. She is the first NTCC student ever selected for this highly competitive scholarship.

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is now enrolling students in its new GED NOW program—a free, accelerated 6-week course designed to help adult learners quickly earn their GED and transition to college or a career pathway.
The program offers both in-person and virtual options to fit a variety of schedules:
The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Baseball program will host a High School Showcase Camp on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Eagle Field at Bob Baker Stadium. The event is open to high school students (grades 9-12) and college transfers interested in taking their game to the next level.
Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m., with the camp starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of the NTCC coaching staff and will receive a written evaluation at the conclusion of the session.
