Theatre Northeast at Northeast Texas Community College will hold auditions for its spring production, Twelfth Night or What You Will by William Shakespeare, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts has canceled the I AM, HE SAID Neil Diamond tribute concert scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, due to winter weather concerns.
The Whatley Center is working with the artist to reschedule the performance for a later date. If a new date is confirmed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performance.
There is still time to sign up for spring classes if you hurry! NTCC is currently enrolling for Spring 2026, which begins on Tuesday, Jan. 20th. Click here to view the schedule to see available courses. Classes are available in a variety of formats to meet your needs. Examples include:

• Hybrid classes with online and face-to-face components

The Work4College Application is officially OPEN for the Summer of 2026! The Work4College Program is a great way to attend NTCC without acquiring debt and experience hands-on learning by working in a department on campus. The application is available to fill out and submit online at www.Work4College.com. The deadline to apply is April 10, 2026.

NTCC Foundation scholarship applications are officially open for the 2026-2027 academic year. Anyone who plans to attend NTCC for the Fall 2026 semester should consider applying online at ntcc.edu/scholarships. Applications are due March 23rd.
Fans of Neil Diamond can enjoy a night of classic hits when I AM, HE SAID, CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF NEIL DIAMOND, comes to the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 7:30 p.m.
The concert is sponsored by Kaye and JT Brison and features MATT VEE and THE KILLER VEES, a family band with decades of experience in the music industry. Members of the group have performed with many legendary artists, including Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Paul McCartney and Chuck Berry.
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a grant for $50,000 from the Ray H Marr Foundation. The funds are designated to provide scholarships for students pursuing an education in high-demand workforce programs.
