Northeast Texas Community College will offer an eight-week Phlebotomy Technician training program Oct. 20 through Dec. 8. The hybrid program combines online learning with in-person clinical training, with classes meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Tuition is $1,000 for the class and clinical training or $750 for the class only. Limited financial assistance may be available.
Looking for a fun way to get active and learn one of the fastest-growing sports around? NTCC Continuing Education will offer another pickleball class this fall.
The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 13-Nov. 5, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the NTCC tennis courts. Marc Levesque will serve as instructor.
There’s still time to start training for a new career this fall. Northeast Texas Community College is enrolling students in its Plumber Pre-Apprentice Program, which begins Sept. 8, and financial assistance of up to $2,500 may be available for qualified students.
The Northeast Texas Community College Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its third graduating class on Monday, August 10, 2026.

The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy in partnership with Ancora, continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Northeast Texas Community College wrapped up another successful year of Kids Discovery College, welcoming more than 110 young campers to campus for two weeks of hands-on learning, creativity and fun. With more than a dozen engaging classes covering everything from science and technology to theater, art and sports, the program gave local children the opportunity to learn new skills while making lasting summer memories.

The training focused on workplace safety awareness and OSHA standards, helping participants strengthen their knowledge of safe work practices, hazard recognition, and job site compliance. Looking for a stable, hands-on career with room to grow? Northeast Texas Community College is now enrolling students in a new Plumber Pre-Apprentice Program, designed to help individuals take the first step into one of Texas' most in-demand skilled trades.
The 14-week evening program meets Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., beginning September 8 and concluding December 10. Students will gain foundational plumbing knowledge and hands-on experience that prepares them to begin working as a plumber apprentice. Tuition for the program is $3,000.
