HVAC program kicks off in January

Is your new year’s resolution to start a new career? If so, The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education department has a great opportunity to consider. A new 13-week HVAC Installer Helper Program begins in January 2025. It focuses on broad, transferable skills, including an understanding of the heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industry. The program will begin January 21st and run through April 9th with classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Continuing Education offers career training opportunities in spring 2025

The Continuing Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is pleased to announce upcoming short-term career training programs for individuals interested in gaining job-ready skills in high-demand fields. Beginning in January, NTCC will offer training in several essential areas, designed to prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, and flexible payment plans are offered to make these programs accessible.

Three students complete Professional Driving Academy

The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Three new students recently graduated from the program. CNA program graduates 23 students

Northeast Texas Community College recently celebrated the achievements of 23 graduates from its Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) program. Over the course of the six-week certification, students gained essential hands-on experience and classroom instruction, equipping them with the skills to provide high-quality patient care in healthcare settings. Emily Mikel, the program's instructor, guided the students through rigorous training, ensuring they are well-prepared for the workforce.

NTCC provides on-site CPR training to corporate partners

The Continuing Education and Corporate Training department at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) recently conducted successful CPR training sessions for local industry partners, including Newly Weds Foods and Scot Industries. Delivered on-site, the training has been well-received, with both companies praising the college’s efforts to prioritize safety and ensure their employees are prepared for emergency situations.
