DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:

  • Travel is required throughout the week to the following high school campuses: Mount Pleasant, Harts Bluff, and the NTCC Campus
  • Build strong relationships with high school students and their families, particularly within the Hispanic and underserved communities.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages open dialogue and trust.
  • Engage and respond to written, email, voicemail, and verbal requests for information about Dual Credit and Postsecondary transition
  • Communicate regularly with f

Honors students attend Texas Shakespeare Festival

Three incoming NTCC honors students witnessed Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in an afternoon production on 11 July.  They traveled to the annual Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore. Donors of Honors Northeast and of the college,Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery made the visit possible.  The students drove from NTCC and back with Dr. Andrew Yox, honors director.

Kids Discovery College 2024: a summer of learning and fun

Kids Discovery College 2024, held from July 8 to July 18, was a vibrant hub of activity and excitement for young learners in the community. The camp brought together children from diverse backgrounds, offering a perfect blend of educational enrichment and fun-filled experiences.

Donate $10 to celebrate 10 years of Work4College!

It is hard to believe that NTCC’s Work4College Program is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this summer! When the program kicked off a decade ago with just 14 students working on the college farm, we had no idea the impact it would come to have on our campus and the lives of countless students. This summer we have 89 participants who are WORKING hard to EARN their college education.

NTCC becomes CNA testing site

Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to announce that it was recently approved as a Prometric testing site for the Texas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) exam. This means that students who complete NTCC’s CNA course will be able to take both their online exam and in-person skills test right here on campus. 

“This is exciting not only for our students, but for the community as well. Anyone who needs to take the CNA exam will now have the convenience of choosing NTCC as their testing site,” Emily Mikel, NTCC Instructor of CNA said.
