NTCC celebrates December 2024 graduates

Northeast Texas Community College celebrated its December 2024 commencement on Friday, Dec. 13th at 7 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. A total of 116 students graduated with 81 associate degrees and 82 certificates of competency awarded. 

Carla Sotelo gave the student welcome in both English and Spanish. Liliana Torreblanca (pictured below), who graduated from the Agriculture program, delivered the student response. Chuck Johns, Russell East, Sondra Fowler and Kerry Wootten were in attendance representing the NTCC Board of Trustees

Faculty required to teach on-campus courses.  The primary purpose of this position is the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities.

Anonymous donor gives $10,000 to Work4College Program

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received $10,000 from an anonymous donor. The gift will be used to support the continued expansion of the Work4College Program into the Fall and Spring semesters. NTCC Foundation receives $25,000 from Ray H Marr Foundation

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a grant for $25,000 from the Ray H Marr Foundation. The funds are designated to provide scholarships for students pursuing an education in high-demand workforce programs.
