Mr. Johns began serving on the NTCC Board of Trustees in 1996 and he has been a faithful member since then. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2020 and remained in that role until his passing. He was an active member of the Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT) and worked at the state level to advocate for NTCC.
