Spooky season is upon us! It's time to mark your calendar for NTCC's 36th annual Scare Affair on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 6-9 p.m. on the main campus. The Director of Plant Services is the administrative official responsible for overseeing all facilities management operations, including maintenance, custodial services, groundskeeping, and safety compliance. This leadership role ensures that campus facilities are safe, functional, and conducive to a positive educational environment. The Director works extensively with all college departments in planning renovations and maintenance

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) approved Northeast Texas Community College’s application to establish a police department on its campus on September 12th, 2024. Russell Radke was sworn in as the college’s first Chief of Police that same day.
Every year, the Phi Theta Kappa chapter members on the NTCC campus select a topic to explore and ultimately produce a project relevant to our local community. The PTK headquarters suggests the overarching study topic. For 2024-2025, Phi Theta Kappa members worldwide will be exploring "Stories."

The Northeast Texas Community College Student Services team is excited to announce the winners of the 2024 EagleGanza Scholarship! One student was randomly drawn from each of the four EagleGanza first-year student experiences held throughout the summer. Winners of the $500 scholarships included (from left): Joshua Staten, Perla Vazquez and Kara Bailey. Josh Quintero (not pictured) also received a scholarship.
The Northeast Texas Community College Work4College Program recently received a grant of $1,500 from Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) and the American Electric Power (AEP) Foundation. The funds will be used to sponsor a student in the 2025 Summer Work4College Program. The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is excited to kick off its 2024-2025 season with a concert by Pam Tillis on Tuesday, Oct. 8th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for students. NTCC extends its sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. Dan McCauley, who passed away on September 11, 2024.
Dr. McCauley served on the NTCC Board of Trustees faithfully for 36 years, with much of that time spent as Chairman of the Board. He was instrumental in many of the college's major milestones.
He established the Dr. Dan McCauley Visual Arts Scholarship in 1994 and it remains active today. Thanks to his contributions, many students have been able to pursue their dream of a college education.
