Eagles Softball sweeps doubleheader at NCTC

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Softball team continued its hot streak this week with sweep at North Central Texas College in Gainesville. Below are summaries of the games:

Game 1 - vs. NCTC - Eagles win 3-2 

NTCC Softball bested NCTC Lions 3-2 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. NTCC Softball were down 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning when Sawyer Strange doubled, scoring two runs.

The pitching was strong on both sides. NTCC Softball pitchers struck out five, while NCTC Lions sat down four.

Ag Club offers tutoring for agriculture students

Are you struggling with Agriculture or Math courses? Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC)  Ag Club is here to help! We’re excited to announce free tutoring services for students enrolled in Agriculture courses, Algebra, Finite Mathematics, and Statistics. This specialized support is designed to help students succeed academically and reach their goals.

Tutoring is offered Monday through Thursday in both the Agriculture Workroom and the STEM Lab. Students can drop in during the scheduled hours or set up an appointment for more personalized support.

PTA program achieves 100% pass rate on NPTE

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is proud to announce that 100% of its recent Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) graduates have successfully passed the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) on their first attempt. This remarkable achievement underscores the high quality of education and training provided by NTCC's PTA program.

David Sistrunk Memorial Work4College Scholarship gets $10,000 boost

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $10,000 from the estate of the late Pat Sistrunk. The funds will be added to the David Sistrunk Memorial Scholarship. This endowed scholarship is available for students who participate in the Work4College program. Pictured receiving the donation is (from left) Nita May, Director of Development, and Dr. Jon McCullough, Executive Vice President for Advancement. The unique Work4College program allows students to work at the college and other locations to contribute to their college expenses in advance.
