The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $25,000 gift from the Carroll Shelby Foundation to support students enrolled in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Institute (CSAI).
The funds provided scholarships for CSAI students during the 2026-2027 academic year, helping students pursue hands-on training and prepare for careers in the automotive industry.
The Carroll Shelby Foundation has been a major supporter of the program since legendary automotive designer and racer Carroll Shelby took a personal interest in creating educational and career opportunities for students in Northeast Texas. That relationship continues today through the foundation’s ongoing investment in CSAI and its students.
“We are extremely grateful to the Carroll Shelby Foundation for its continued support of our students,” said Dr. Jon McCullough, NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement. “Their generosity provides meaningful opportunities for students to gain valuable skills and prepare for successful careers.
