NTCC partners with Pittsburg High School for College and Career Fair

Northeast Texas Community College recently partnered with Pittsburg High School to participate in its College and Career Fair, giving students the opportunity to explore a wide range of academic pathways and future careers. Representatives from NTCC’s Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, NTCC Student Services, Math, Science, Health Sciences, Funeral Services, and other programs were on hand to visit with students and answer questions. Melody Mott, NTCC College Liaison, helped coordinate the event.

Michelle Calderon Receives Graham Leadership and Ethics Scholarship

Michelle Calderon, a student at Northeast Texas Community College in Texas, has received the Gordon Graham Leadership and Ethics in Criminal Justice Scholarship of $1,250 from the International Public Safety Leadership and Ethics Institute (IPSLEI) and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

This scholarship is awarded to only one Phi Theta Kappa member nationwide who is enrolled in an associate degree program in a criminal justice field at a regionally accredited college.
