Northeast Texas Community College will host its August 2025 commencement ceremony on Friday, Aug. 15th in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so only guests who have tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. Graduation will be streamed live on NTCC Website and Facebook for those who are unable to attend in person.

The Northeast Texas Community College Softball program is pleased to introduce Coach Sarah Polanco as its new assistant coach.
The Northeast Texas Community College Theatre Department invites the community to join them this fall for Return to Roswell, an original play written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, NTCC Professor of Theatre.
Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, recently received its sixth Honors in Action grant from the Mellon Foundation. The chapter will use the funds to explore and expand upon the various ways in which community colleges preserve stories. Part of that project includes filming and compiling “40 stories” related to the college as it celebrates its fortieth anniversary.
Christi Denney and her daughters, Clara and Adelyn, recently presented $1,500 to support the Nita DeWoody Memorial Scholarship fund. The fund provides two scholarships for non-traditional students. Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology, continued his research on fish parasites on an outing from the Ouachita Mountains Biological Station (OMBS) at Big Fork, Arkansas from July 30-Aug. 3, 2025. Dr. Mac was joined by the OMBS station manager, Dr. Jeffrey Pittman, who assisted him in electroshocking fish.
