The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on March 31, 2026, highlighting student success, campus initiatives, and future projects.

The meeting opened with a presentation from Dr. Jon McCullough, Executive Vice President for Advancement, showcasing the college’s international student athletes. More than a dozen students from regions including the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and beyond introduced themselves, shared their sports and discussed future plans. McCullough noted that having international students on campus enhances both global learning opportunities and cultural exposure for local students.
