The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will welcome a night of country music history as Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn take the stage for a special performance that celebrates the legendary sounds of their families. The event is sponsored by the NTCC Foundation.

Tre Twitty, grandson of Conway Twitty, and Tayla Lynn, granddaughter of Loretta Lynn, are carrying on a rich musical legacy while creating a show all their own. Together, they deliver an unforgettable concert experience that blends classic hits, personal stories, and the unmistakable chemistry that made their grandparents one of country music’s most iconic duos.

There is a moment at the beginning of every show that immediately transports audiences back in time. As the band plays the familiar intro to “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man,” Twitty and Lynn share a glance that echoes the magic of their grandparents, drawing audiences into a powerful, nostalgic journey.

For the next 90 minutes, fans are immersed in the music and memories that defined a generation. Through their performance, Twitty and Lynn honor their roots while sharing their own stories, giving audiences a unique and personal connection to country music history.

“Fans have told Tayla and me that when they see us onstage singing, talking, and just looking at each other, they think, ‘Wow, there must be something genetic in those two families,’” Tre Twitty said. “It validates the experience of the concert for them. We’re telling our grandparents’ story through our story.”

Tickets for the performance are $40. They can be purchased online at whatleycenter.com or by calling the Whatley Center box office at 903-434-8181.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience an evening of timeless country music, heartfelt storytelling, and a living tribute to two of the genre’s greatest legends.
