Registration is now open for Northeast Texas Community College’s popular Kids Discovery College (KDC) summer program, which will be held July 13–23 (Monday–Thursday).
Designed for students ages 8–16, Kids Discovery College offers a fun, hands-on learning experience where participants build their own schedule by selecting three classes per day—one from each time block—running from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s lineup features an exciting mix of creative, technical, and active options, including:
- Robotics, Coding 101, and Drones 101
- Culinary Craziness and DIY Crafts using Canva
- Clay Creations and Art
- Game Show Mania and North Pole Adventure Camp
- Tennis, E-Sports, and more
A special Theatre class is also available and spans both morning sessions for students interested in performance.
The cost for the full program is a flat $225 per child, which includes all instruction and a KDC t-shirt.
All classes are held on the NTCC main campus in Mount Pleasant, providing a safe and engaging environment where kids can explore new interests, make friends, and stay active during the summer.
Spots are limited and classes fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. For more information or to sign up, visit www.ntcc.edu/kdc or call 903-434-8134.
