The Theatre department at Northeast Texas Community College is preparing to bring laughter, energy, and classic comedy to the stage with its upcoming production of Twelfth Night Or, What You Will, an adaptation one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved works.
Performances will be held April 16-18 at 7 p.m. with an additional matinee show on April 18th at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adult (age 18 & older), $10 for NTCC Employee, Seniors (age 55 & older), and Military; and $5 for kids ages 4-17. Admission is free for NTCC students with ID. Tickets can be purchased online at www.whatleycenter.com or at the Whatley Center Box Office before the show.
Filled with mistaken identities, witty dialogue, and lively characters, Twelfth Night Or, What You Will promises an entertaining experience for audiences of all ages. The production showcases the hard work and dedication of NTCC students, bringing Shakespeare’s timeless humor to life in a fresh and engaging way.
Director Dr. Page Petrucka praised the cast and encouraged the community to attend.
“This cast is absolutely incredible—they’ve brought so much energy, creativity, and heart to this production,” Petrucka said. “It’s been such a joy watching these actors grow into their roles and truly shine on stage. This show is pure fun from beginning to end, and I promise audiences are going to laugh, be surprised, and have an amazing time.”
The production is open to students, employees, and community members. Theatre Northeast continues to provide high-quality performances while giving students valuable experience in the performing arts.
