Due to COVID-19, NTCC isn't able to host its regular annual college fair. That doesn't mean NTCC students won't have the opportunity to check out their options for transfer universities! A virtual college fair will be held November 16 from 1-3 p.m.
The NTCC Continuing Education and Agriculture departments will offer a Fall Decorating Workshop November 10th and 17th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Need new ideas for decorating your home for fall? Join them for two class sessions on new and fresh ideas for preparing your home for fall and the Thanksgiving holiday. Participants will create and take home two fall decor items.
The NTCC Office of Student Activities, Student Government Association, Social Work Club and The Wesley Fellowship Student Center are partnering together to host a campus wide Advent Calendar food drive to support The Eagle Pantry. The Eagle Pantry is a resource on campus that educates, feeds, and comforts students who need a helping hand during rough times. Thank you in advance for your support!

Carolina Alcocer-Salas, the president of NTCC’s award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (Alpha Mu Chi) and the secretary of the student council of Honors Northeast, has won the 2020 Dr. Charles B. Florio Award for Leadership. Alcocer-Salas will receive $200, given by an anonymous donor, in honor of Northeast Texas Community College’s longest-term president.
Northeast Texas Community College recently inducted new members into Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for students at two-year colleges. Inductees included (pictured from left): Maritza Quinones of Mount Pleasant, Kortnie Griffin of Pittsburg, and Amie Hurley of Deport.

The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy recently celebrated the graduation of two students. Maverick Elwell and Alexandro Ramirez completed the program and were awarded their certificates on October 29.

The NTCC Continuing Education Department and Knox Shooting Academy will offer Texas License to Carry (LTC) Classes the second Saturday of each month. Upcoming dates are November 14 and December 12.
