Northeast Texas Community College will be closed November 25-27 for Thanksgiving Break. In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Texas, we encourage you to use extra caution to prevent the spread of the virus during that time.
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,500 gift from International Sulphur, Inc. The funds will provide seven $1,500 scholarships to NTCC graduates transferring to a university to continue their studies.
Northeast Texas Community College is accepting applications for Day and Evening EMT Basic classes. Go to www.ntcc.edu/ems to fill out the online application. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a clinical component added.

NTCC's Online Personal Training Certification Program is live!
This 15-hour course is a comprehensive, research-based program designed to provide you with all of the skills required to become a personal trainer. Learn cutting-edge information about exercise science, flexibility, resistance training, nutrition, mind/body exercises, and cardio workouts. Experience sports performance enhancement drills and program development techniques.
Want to get in the holiday spirit? Sign up for Christmas Decor & More presented by NTCC Agriculture and Continuing Education! Get your home ready for the Christmas holidays with this two-session class. You will make two decor pieces that you can take home.

Scholars of Honors Northeast, connected with last summer’s film project on Bo Pilgrim, submitted a video last Monday for the 46th Fall meeting of the State of Texas Webb Society, held this Friday, 13 November via Zoom. The Webb Society is the collegiate auxiliary of the Texas State Historical Association, and is comprised of both university and community college chapters.
The NTCC community is invited to attend a virtual Coffee Chat hosted by Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Friday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. Mayor Tracy Craig, Sr. of Mount Pleasant, who is a recent graduate of A&M-Texarkana, will discuss his experience as a transfer student and give advice for future students interested in transferring to A&M-Texarkana.
