There is still time to register for Summer classes at NTCC! A new set of 5-week classes begins on Monday, July 12. A variety of courses are offered both online and in person. Hurry, time is running out! This is a great chance to get one step closer to your degree or certificate.

College closed Monday for Independence Day
Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, July 6. We hope everyone has a great time celebrating the holiday safely with family and friends.

Summer Shout Out: Betsy Gooding
NTCC is pleased to announce that Betsy Gooding, Registrar, has been nominated for this week's Summer Shout Out. Betsy has the important job of maintaining student records, awarding degrees/certificates, and so much more!
Congratulations to Betsy! We appreciate all she does to support the mission of NTCC.
EagleGanza kicks off with first event
Northeast Texas Community College hosted its first EagleGanza freshman experience on Tuesday, June 29. Around 50 students participated in the action-packed event that gives incoming freshmen a chance to explore the NTCC campus, learn about programs and clubs, meet with advisors and even register for classes.
NTCC farmer's market to return July 2
- Farmer's Market dates are July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
- Events begin at 9 a.m. and last until sellout.
- At noon there will be an Innovative Farmer Tips class.
- In addition to produce, plants and canned items grown on the NTCC farm, outside vendors are also welcome.
- The Ag Club will sell grilled chicken sandwiches for $5 each.

Shelby intern goes to the races
Being a student in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at NTCC can be so much more than just going to class. Last week, Shelby student Christian Cabrera participated in the Mid America Ford and Shelby Event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christian is completing a summer internship with Gateway Bronco in St. Louis, Missouri.
Summer Shout Out: IT Department
NTCC is pleased to announce that our IT Department and Sebastian Barron, Director of Computer and Technical Services, has been nominated for our very first Summer Shout Out. The computer services team does a phenomenal job of keeping our campus systems up and running, making our network safe and so much more.
