Alpha Mu Chi, the Northeast Texas Community College Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, is seeking artists to participate in a special exhibit that will be held October 28 through November 1, 2019 in the Whatley Center foyer gallery. Outside The Lines will be a show about art, mental health and identity. A closing reception will be held Friday, Nov. 1 from 5-7 p.m.

The office of Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs at Northeast Texas Community College will host an Intramural Doubles Pool Tournament on Friday, Sept. 13 in the NTCC Game Room (SUB). Thanks to premier film patrons Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery of Scroggins, a Whatley Enhancement Grant, administrative support at the college, and some influential encouragement of local friends, the honors program of NTCC finished its six days of filming on 15 August.

President Dwyatt Bell, Chairman of the Board, John Bryan, and Senior Vice President, Brenda Howard formally have represented Texas Heritage National Bank in honoring Mercedes Collins with a full-tuition, fees and books scholarship. 

Northeast Texas Community College and Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a signing event on the A&M-Texarkana campus on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m.
