Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Continuing Education is offering a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course December 1-5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the NTCC campus (2886 FM 1735, Mount Pleasant).

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) hosted the third Rodeo of the NIRA Southern Region at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association arena this past week, October 9th-11th.
Northeast Texas Community College’s Industrial Technology Training Center is excited to welcome students this fall as part of the very first Northeast Texas Career Alliance (NTCA) classes! This new partnership brings together Chapel Hill CISD, Paul Pewitt CISD, Hughes Springs CISD, and Daingerfield CISD to give students the chance to explore careers in Industrial Technology while still in high school.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is now accepting applications for its nursing programs. Prospective students can apply for both the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) and Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) programs. Applications will be accepted through February 1.
Chef Brandon Rodriguez, a 2011 graduate of NTCC with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, later earned his B.S. in Hospitality & Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Dallas. His culinary journey began at just 14, when he started as a dishwasher under his father, who has more than 40 years of experience in the kitchen. Inspired by those early moments in the restaurant, Brandon knew he was destined to become a chef.

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo is in full swing, with plenty of action still ahead through Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena.
Friday’s competition kicks off with slack events — including Tie Down Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Goat Tying, and Team Roping — beginning at 9 a.m. The excitement continues Friday night at 7 p.m. with a full rodeo performance featuring both timed events and rough stock.
