Gerald and Mary Lou Mowery recently gave $2,000 to support special projects at Northeast Texas Community College. The gift will help Honors Northeast sponsor the 2019 McGraw-Hill Poster Contest and it will also support the annual Honors film project. The Mowery’s are pictured presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough (center), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement.
A message from our friends at Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC
Ned and Margaret Muse, of Pittsburg, recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with a check for $2,100 to establish a new travel scholarship. The Ned C. Muse and Margaret Haak-Muse Travel Scholarship will sponsor a student enrolled in an art class for NTCC’s summer travel study program. Next May, NTCC faculty members will accompany a group of students on a trip to Boston.

If you would be interested in seeing the results of our NTCC/Noble Foundation Winter Forage Trial mark your calendar to attend this free event on Thursday, December 13th at the NTCC Ag Complex & Farm at 3pm. This is the second year that we have tested these new varieties of winter forages that have the potential to improve your bottom line especially this year when hay supplies are short.
