Annual bonfire planned for March 2

RESCHEDULED!!!

The bonfire will be reschedule due to the recent rainy weather.
The reschedule date will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Look for more information closer to the date.

The NTCC Office of Student Activities, Student Government Association, the Eagles Rodeo Team and the Baptist Student Ministry will host the annual college bonfire on Tuesday, March 2. The event will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the BSM area of campus. All students are invited to attend for free pizza, music and fun.

College to resume operations Monday

Northeast Texas Community College will resume normal operations on Monday, Feb. 22. While we anticipate that the winter weather situation will improve significantly by that time, we urge both students and employees to put their own safety first. 

If icy conditions persist where you live and you do not feel safe driving, please contact your instructor or supervisor to make individual arrangements.

NTCC bad weather procedure

IMPORTANT UPDATE: NTCC will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 due to winter weather. We will continue to monitor the situation and a decision regarding Tuesday and the rest of the week will be made on Monday afternoon. 

There is a good chance that our area will see some severe winter weather in the coming days and we want to make sure the campus community is aware of our inclement weather procedure.

Student athletic trainer moving on

Northeast Texas Community College Athletic Training is pleased to announce that Student Athletic Trainer Erica Austin will be joining the Texas A&M University—Commerce Athletic Training program in the Fall of 2021.

Erica came to NTCC from Texarkana Pleasant Grove High School in the Fall of 2019 and has worked with each of the Eagle Athletic Teams in her two years here at NTCC.

Eagles Baseball opens season on the road

Northeast Texas Community College Baseball kicked off the season with a road series at Arkansas Rich Mountain on Thursday, winning game one of the series 9-6 before dropping game to Rich Mountain.

Rich Mountain would get on the scoreboard first, plating two runs in the bottom of the first inning. NTCC would get right back in the game in the second inning, scoring three runs to take the lead 3-2.
