The 5^th Annual Engineering Roundtable at Northeast Texas Community College was held on Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Whatley Center Foyer on campus.† Since 2014, this event has become an annual opportunity for both students who are currently enrolled in the NTCC engineering program and students from area high schools who are interested in the field of engineering. Theatre Northeast, the student theatre group of Northeast Texas Community College, will host†An Evening with Thornton Wilder†March 1-4 at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. March 1-3 and a 2:05 p.m. matinee will be held on March 4.

The†Northeast Texas Community College Eagles†baseball team beat Weatherford College 11-9 Wednesday in an away game. The Eagles managed through an early push by Weatherford in the first inning where NTCC coughed up six runs, but came back to win 11-9.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game.†NTCC†collected 15 hits and Weatherford College had eight.

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Baseball team split a double header with Hutchinson on Thursday. The Eagles won game one 7-1 and dropped the second game 9-7.

In the opener, the eagles had a big third inning which propelled them to the win.

The NTCC Continuing Education Department is planning a spring travel course to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on Thursday, April 5.

Honors Northeast, the honors program at Northeast Texas Community College, is currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year.

Nothing prepared Christi Denney for the loss of her beloved sister, Nita DeWoody, in October 2016. However, In the midst of her grief, Denney became determined to do something good to carry on her sister?s memory. With that goal in mind, she organized a charity 5K race that was held in October 2017 in Pittsburg.
