Northeast Texas Community College has named Haley Colwell as the new leader for the Eagle Softball program. Haley Colwell joins the talented staff at Northeast as the new Head Softball coach.

The Northeast Texas Community College Theatre Department, in collaboration with Firefly Community Theatre (Pittsburg Camp County Arts Council) will soon host auditions for it's upcoming radio play production of Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus, based upon the teleplay by Val De Crowl and Andrew J. Fenady.

We are officially less than two weeks away from the start of the Fall 2023 semester. Classes start Monday, Aug. 28th. There is still time to sign up, but you need to act now! Most current students should be able to register online in the myeagle portal.

Honors Northeast, the honors program of Northeast Texas Community College announces a call for poems and images that can accent or enliven our sense of the surroundings, people, the culture, and/or the history of Northeast Texas. Adult poetry winners will take home $100 and $50 for first and second place...

By now you've probably heard about Pickleball, but have you given it a try? NTCC's continuing education Pickleball class is back by popular demand!  There's never been a better time to get some exercise and have a great time making new friends and learning about this exciting sport. 

Northeast Texas Community College celebrated its August 2023 commencement on Friday, Aug. 11th at 7 p.m. in the Whatley Center. There were 95 total graduates (not all were in attendance) who received 69 degrees and 50 certificates of competency. 

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is set to dazzle audiences with an exciting variety of performances for the 2023-2024 season. From world-renowned acts to local talents, this season promises a diverse range of entertainment that offers something for everyone.

The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration.

Christi Denney (left) recently presented Nita May, Director of Development with the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation, with $2,000 to support the Nita DeWoody Memorial Scholarship fund. Multiple donations were received to contribute to the scholarship in memory of JW Hooper, father of Denney and DeWoody, who passed away in 2023.

Northeast Texas Community College will host its August 2023 commencement ceremony tonight on Friday, Aug. 11 in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so only guests who have tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. Graduation will be streamed live on Youtube and Facebook for those who are unable to attend in person.
