You cannot work, study or perform if you are hungry. Let's show our campus that we “CARE”!
Did you know that one in five East Texans, are hungry today? Texas has a higher rate of food insecurity, one that's higher than the national average. That means it is more difficult for our students, colleagues and community members to put food on the table.
Every semester full-time and associate faculty in NTCC’s Division of Math, Physics and Engineering can select an outstanding student, who is exceptional in some way. For the Fall 2021 semester, Dr. Doug Richey nominated Grayson Goates (left) as Outstanding College Algebra Student. For the Spring 2022 semester, Richey nominated April O'Rand (right) as Outstanding College Algebra Student.
Congratulations, Grayson and April!

The Learning Commons also has a collection of rare Biggers lithographs, which are currently on loan to the Tyler Museum of Art for an exhibit titled "Student/Teacher: Works of Charles Criner & Dr. John Biggers."
