Looking for NTCC Softball alumni

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Softball program will host an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Eagle Field. All NTCC Softball alumni are invited to come enjoy friendly competition and fellowship with the current team and coaching staff. Those planning to attend should contact Jessica Keith at†jkeith@ntcc.edu. Game time is at 11 a.m. and lunch will be provided following the game. The public is invited to come cheer on friends and family.†

NTCC to host 25th annual rodeo

† † †Rodeo fans will get to see more than 300 athletes from throughout the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) compete for points and prizes next weekend as Northeast Texas Community College its 25th annual rodeo. The event will be held October 9-11 at the Mount Pleasant City Arena on Greenhill Road.





† † †Rodeo action will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Women's soccer update

† † †The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Women?s Eagles Soccer team won two of four games this past week. The Eagles defeated Western Texas College and Paris Junior College, but fell to Jacksonville College and third ranked Tyler Junior College.

Pleasant Sams club gives scholarship

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. This year?s gift will benefit a student studying nursing at NTCC. Let's Hang On to perform at Whatley Center

Let?s Hang On will perform at the Northeast Texas Community College campus in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on October 11 at 7:30 p.m. Billed as the nation's most popular Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons Tribute show, you will hear the story of these blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who wrote their own songs, invented their own sound, and took the world by storm all before the age of 30.

NTCC to offer fall fast-track classes

Did you wait too late to register for fall semester classes, but are interested in starting college right away? Northeast Texas Community College is offering a variety of fast-track courses to help keep your educational goals in sight.

Fast-track courses range from five to eight weeks and consist of both face-to-face and online components. These hybrid format classes are fast-paced, but allow you to complete a full credit course in around half the time of a regular semester.
