National Transfer Week is taking place next week (Oct 19-Oct 23). Our friends at Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC will be hosting special activities for NTCC students! 

What is a QEP?

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is an integral component of the reaffirmation of accreditation process and is derived from an institution’s ongoing comprehensive planning and evaluation processes. It reflects and affirms a commitment to enhance overall institutional quality and effectiveness by focusing on an issue the institution considers important to improving student learning outcomes and/or student success that is consistent with our mission and strategic plan.

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo Team made the long trip to Uvalde, Texas to compete in the Southwest Texas Junior College Rodeo October 2-3.

Sophomores Peyton Cooper and Garrett Fields had a nice showing for NTCC. Peyton (Ivanhoe, Texas) placed seventh in Goat Tying, while Garrett (Quitman, Texas) placed sixth in the Steer Wrestling event.

NTCC recently celebrated the first two students to complete the new Professional Driving Academy. Pictured (from left) is: Antarius Morton, Jimmy Smith (NTCC Workforce Developer), Michael Jones (Instructor), and Marcus Allen.
