Honors Northeast Scholars win four Caldwell Essay Awards

The Northeast Texas Community College chapter of Psi Beta will host its annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk, Run, or Crawl 5K event on Saturday, April 13th on the NTCC campus. The event will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with speaker Amy Barfield, Ph.D. and the 5K starts at 10:30 a.m.
The entry fee is $25 each for pre-registration or $30 on the day of the event. T-shirts will be provided to those who pre-register and pay by March 20. Click below for the registration form:

Get ready to be swept away to another land with a mesmerizing production of Celtic Angels Ireland at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College. The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for children and NTCC students with a current ID.
Students in the NTCC Cosmetology Program recently enjoyed a bit of friendly competition with a manikin hair and makeup contest. After a lesson on how to professionally apply makeup, students were assigned the task of completing a full makeover on a teaching manikin. The goal was to include a full face of makeup and a formal updo hairstyle. While all of the manikins looked amazing, popular vote chose the following as the winners:

March is designated at National Athletic Training Month and this year the slogan is “From Head to Toe”. From Concussions and head lacerations to muscle strains and broken bones all the way to sprained toes, Athletic Trainers are here to care for our athletes.
