NTCC seeking recruits for 20th Fire Academy

The Northeast Texas Community College Fire Academy is now recruiting for its 20th Academy. The Academy started in 2002 and has trained numerous individuals in fire service. The NTCC Fire Academy prepares trainees for a career as a firefighter. The academy is an authorized training facility for structural firefighting under Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP - FDID #107). Trainees who successfully complete the academy will be eligible for the certification exam given by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

EMS program presents Stop the Bleed kits to Harts Bluff ISD

This week the Northeast Texas Community College EMS Program had the honor of presenting updated Stop the Bleed kits to Harts Bluff ISD. The kits were donated by the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council in partnership with NTCC. Winter Dance Party show comes to Whatley

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts will present John Mueller’s Winter Dance Party on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Winter Dance Party is the official live and authentic re-creation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper's final tour and the only show endorsed by the Holly, Valens and Richardson estates. The performance is sponsored by Texas Heritage National Bank.

Northeast Texas Community College hosted the third National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Rodeo October 15-16. The Rodeo was held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Priefert Arena in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
