Gib Wilson, owner of Wilson Farms, recently gave $600 to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. The 2020-2021 Foundation Scholarship application is available online. You can get the application from http://www.ntcc.edu/scholarships or you may stop by to see Lori Hunter in the Student Services Center and get a copy. Please note the priority deadline for applications is March 13, 2020.
The Northeast Texas Community Foundation recently received $1,000 from the Connects Committee at UT Health in Pittsburg. Given in memory of Judy Ledbetter, the funds will provide two nursing scholarships to NTCC students.

Where would you begin to take on a project like that? One of the best ways to determine if farming and gardening might be right for you is to “try on the boots”!
Filing for Place One, Place Two, Place Three, Place Five, and Place Six on the Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees will begin on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, and continues through 5 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020.

Jim Shanahan (left) recently donated $5,000 to the NTCC Foundation to further enhance the Jim and LaRue Shanahan Endowed Scholarship. NTCC President, Dr. Ron Clinton, is pictured receiving the check.
