Outstanding College Algebra Students announced
Every semester full-time and associate faculty in NTCC’s Division of Math, Physics and Engineering can select an outstanding student, who is exceptional in some way. For the Fall 2021 semester, Dr. Doug Richey nominated Grayson Goates (left) as Outstanding College Algebra Student. For the Spring 2022 semester, Richey nominated April O'Rand (right) as Outstanding College Algebra Student.

May commencement ceremonies planned for Saturday
Northeast Texas Community College will host two spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14 in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Seating is limited, so only guests who have tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. Both events will be streamed live on Youtube and Facebook for those who are unable to attend in person.
EMS program presents at Little Rascals Daycare
The NTCC EMS Program was invited to the Little Rascals Daycare and Learning Centers Community Helpers Week Celebration. Little Rascals invited many community organizations to discuss what they do and have to offer.

Shelby Memorial events this weekend
The NTCC Carroll Shelby Automotive Program will honor the memory of Carroll Shelby this weekend with several events. The festivities will kick off with a Dyno Day on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shelby Automotive building on the NTCC campus. Anyone who wants to test out the performance of their vehicle is welcome. The cost is $40 for 15 minutes on the Dyno machine, first-come-first-served.
Free Senior Adult Legal Workshops planned
The NTCC Continuing Education and Corporate Training program will host two free Senior Adult Legal Workshops on Friday, May 20 and Friday, Jun 17. Both events will be held in the NTCC Community Room (Humanities building) from 9 a.m. to noon.
The program is designed for individuals 55 and older, or anyone who wants to learn more about estate planning, wills and advanced directives. The speaker will be Wyatt Hinson, Attorney at Law. Different content will be presented at each session, so you are encouraged to sign up for both dates.
