NTCC students planning to transfer will have a great opportunity to explore their options at the NTCC College Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 1-3 p.m. in the Student Union Building. The event will bring representatives from numerous universities to campus, giving students a convenient way to ask questions about admissions, degree programs, transfer credits, scholarships and more.

Northeast Texas Community College is celebrating strong 2026 NCLEX pass rates for graduates of its nursing programs, including a sixth consecutive year of a perfect pass rate for Vocational Nursing graduates.

The NTCC Vocational Nursing Class of 2026 achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). This marks the sixth year in a row that NTCC VN graduates have achieved a 100% pass rate.

Planning to graduate soon? NTCC Advising will host a Graduation Application Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 13, to help students make sure they are ready for graduation.

Advisors will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Business Technology (BT) 121. Students can stop by at their convenience for help completing the graduation application, reviewing graduation requirements and getting answers to questions about the process.

The NTCC Culinary Arts School invites the community to enjoy the flavors of the season at its annual “A Taste of Fall” lunch buffet on Thursday, Oct. 29, from noon to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the NTCC Culinary Arts School, located at 114 Jefferson Street in downtown Pittsburg.

Seventeen Northeast Texas Community College members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Work4College program recently traveled to Oklahoma City for an immersive field study connecting regional archaeology, living Indigenous history, and modern civic resilience. Supported by a grant from the Moody Foundation, the excursion provided students with experiential research opportunities directly tied to NTCC’s extensive Caddo pottery collection.

The Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) is back at NTCC and once again inviting students to enjoy free lunch and fellowship each Wednesday.

Students can stop by the BSM building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays for a free meal and an opportunity to connect with other students and volunteers from local churches. The BSM building is located on the south side of campus between the soccer field and rodeo arena.
