Northeast Texas Community College is celebrating strong 2026 NCLEX pass rates for graduates of its nursing programs, including a sixth consecutive year of a perfect pass rate for Vocational Nursing graduates.
The NTCC Vocational Nursing Class of 2026 achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). This marks the sixth year in a row that NTCC VN graduates have achieved a 100% pass rate.
Graduates of NTCC’s Associate Degree Nursing program also performed well, with the RN Class of 2026 earning an 88.71% NCLEX pass rate.
“We are extremely proud of our 2026 nursing graduates and all they have accomplished,” Dr. Charla Denman, Dean of Health Science, said. “These results reflect the hard work and determination of our students, as well as the dedication of our outstanding nursing faculty. Preparing students to become skilled, compassionate nurses takes tremendous commitment from everyone involved, and I congratulate our graduates and faculty on this achievement.”
The NCLEX is the national licensing examination that nursing graduates must pass before becoming licensed as a vocational or registered nurse. Success on the exam reflects both students’ preparation and their ability to apply the knowledge and skills developed through classroom instruction, laboratory work and clinical experiences.
NTCC’s nursing programs prepare students to enter the health care workforce and serve patients throughout Northeast Texas and beyond. The college also works closely with area clinical partners to provide students with hands-on experience in real-world health care settings.
