New Teen Driver's Education Academy starts soon

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to announce the launch of its new Teen Driver’s Education Program, offered through the college’s Continuing Education program. The course will run October 13 through November 6 and provides local families with a much-needed option for professional driver’s education without having to rely on parent-taught instruction.

Annual College Rodeo planned for Oct. 9-11

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region will have the third rodeo of the 2025-2026 season in Mount Pleasant, Texas October 9th-11th.  Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) will be the host of the Rodeo held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena located on Greenhill Road in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Phlebotomy Technician Program accepting applications

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Continuing Education will launch a new session of its Phlebotomy Technician course on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

The program prepares students to work as skilled phlebotomists — medical professionals trained to collect blood samples for testing, transfusions, research, and donations. Students will gain hands-on experience and classroom instruction designed to meet industry standards.

Softball welcomes Tyson as Interim Head Coach

Northeast Texas Community College Athletics is pleased to announce Taniece Tyson as Interim Head Softball Coach.
Taniece previously served as Assistant Coach with the NTCC Eagle Softball program for the 2024-2025 year. Coach Tyson started her collegiate career at McNeese State University from 2019-2021. While at McNeese I played in 14 games and made five starts as a Cowgirl.

Women's Soccer soars past PJC in dramatic home victory

The NTCC Eagles Women's Soccer team lit up the pitch on September 16th with a thrilling comeback victory over Paris Junior College, giving fans a match to remember in Mount Pleasant.

Paris struck first to grab the early lead, but NTCC stayed composed and battled their way back. The equalizer came in the second half when Kashima Ince laid off a perfect ball to Harmiane Jones, who calmly slotted it home to bring the Lady Eagles level.
