NTCC ENACTUS Team named Regional Champions
The sixth annual Northeast Texas Community College McGraw-Hill poster contest will be held on†Friday, April 26 at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The contest is open to all NTCC and area high school students.†
Those who wish to enter should submit a 75+ word abstract to Dr. Andrew Yox, NTCC Honors Director, by April 24.
Communities In Schools (CIS) brought about 240 high school students to the Northeast Texas Community College campus on March 21†for CAPPED (Certificate and Professional Programs Exploration Day).†
CAPPED @ NTCC †is a program designed to bring high school students to NTCC to learn about programs available to expedite their entry into professional careers in the workplace.† It also allows NTCC faculty to showcase their programs.

Dr. Melissa Weinbrenner, advisor for the Northeast Texas Community College chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, presented a report to the NTCC board of trustees Tuesday night. She shared that NTCC's Alpha Mu Chi Chapter recently won 19 awards at the 2013 Texas Regional Convention in Dallas in addition being elected District III Vice President.
