Whatley Center to host national tour of "As You Like It"

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will host a performance of the national tour of Shakespeare's comedy†As You Like It†on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. The show is presented by The Acting Company of New York.

Tickets to the NTCC performance are $25 for adults and $5 for students.†As You Like It†is sponsored by J.T.

Evening Police Academy holds graduation ceremony

The Northeast Texas Community College Evening Police Academy recently held a commencement ceremony. The graduates are pictured above. Weekend EMR class planned

The Northeast Texas Community College Emergency Medical Services program will hold an introductory coursein emergency care, called Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) from March 16 to May 25.

The EMR course is the first level for emergency medical personnel.† The EMR class provides the student with basic skills and knowledge necessary to assess and care for ill or injured people until professional advanced care arrives.††Those currently working or volunteering in daycares, youth camps, schools, industries, firedepartments, and law enforcement agencies can benefit with this training.<

Duck Commander to appear at NTCC

The Duck Commander is headed to Northeast Texas Community College! Phil Robertson and his youngest son, Jep, of†Duck Dynasty†fame, will appear on the NTCC campus on Saturday, April 6.



This event is hosted by the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation and will take place at NTCC's Bob Baker Stadium. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 25.†All tickets are $20 and include a meal and admission to hear Phil speak.
