The Northeast Texas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) proudly announces that its director, Tim Wilson, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to small business growth in the region. In November, Wilson was presented with a distinguished award for helping his clients secure more than $19 million in capital in 2023, the highest amount achieved by any SBDC advisor in the North Texas Region.
Wilson’s outstanding efforts in facilitating capital acquisition have positioned Northeast Texas as a leader in small business funding, surpassing all other North SBDC advisors, including those in Dallas and Fort Worth. The $19 million+ in funding includes loans awarded and equity investments secured throughout the year, reflecting Wilson’s dedication to empowering local entrepreneurs and fostering economic development.
