The Northeast Texas Community College Taste of NTCC: Battle of the Booths event was a huge success! Ten booths served up a variety of delicious dishes for sampling by a large crowd of students, faculty, staff and community members.  The event raised almost $2,400 that was split evenly between the participating clubs and organizations. 

Each ticket holder was able to cast votes for their favorite booths. The winners of the People’s Choice awards were as follows:

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation finished East Texas Giving Day 2024 at the top of the leaderboard for the third year in a row this Tuesday. NTCC raised a whopping $255,534 via the annual fundraising event that has become a regional tradition.

The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Program is pleased to announce an exciting series of couples cooking classes that will be held this May-June. NTCC is partnering with local restaurants to offer participants the chance to learn how to prepare some of their most popular dishes directly from the chefs who create them.

The Northeast Texas Community College baseball team has solidified the third-place position in Region 14 North of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The Eagles will finish up conference play with two games this weekend against Navarro College at NTCC weather permitting Saturday, May 4th.

Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo ended the regular season of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region with a Rodeo hosted by Hill College April 26-27.

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular April meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd. The first order of business was the presentation of the Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence Award. Jennifer Sparks presented the award to Monica Graves on behalf of the faculty. Graves teaches Learning Frameworks for NTCC.

Two Northeast Texas Community College Honor Societies gathered in the Community Room on Wednesday, April 24th to induct new members. Sigma Kappa Delta inducted 15 members and Phi Theta Kappa inducted 67. Click here to view/download event photos.

Students who live in NTCC Residential Housing were treated to "Sundaes on Sunday" last weekend. Ian Albertson, NTCC Director of  Residential Life, hosted the event in the lobby of Housing West. This was one of several fun events held for residents throughout the semester. NTCC is currently accepting housing applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.
