The Northeast Texas Community College Soccer teams hosted Angelina College in their season and conference opener. The Women’s team fell 17-0 and the Men lost 2-0 on Friday. The NTCC Women's soccer team began their conference campaign with a lopsided 17-0 loss on Friday day to nationally ranked Angelina College.

The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education department is pleased to offer a series of American Sign Language (ASL) classes beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5th. The classes will be held at Jo's coffee shop in downtown Mount Pleasant and they will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

The NTCC Continuing Education department is offering beginner, intermediate and advanced Conversational Spanish classes at the Super Bueno store in Mount Pleasant.

The annual Northeast Texas Poetry Reading on Friday, 8 September at 11 AM will again occur at the Foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the Northeast Texas Community College campus.  The public is invited for this free event, the sixteenth of its kind in as many years.

Perla Guzman of Mount Pleasant has become the 2023-24 Texas Heritage National Bank (THNB) Scholar of NTCC. The $3,000 scholarship provided by the bank goes this year to the top-rated incoming Presidential Scholar of the NTCC Honors Program.   Guzman will inherit this prestigious designation from other previous vanguard students of NTCC.

The Northeast Texas Community College Theatre Department, in collaboration with Firefly Community Theatre (Pittsburg Camp County Arts Council) will soon host auditions...

Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4th in observation of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will return to normal hours and classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 5th. We hope everyone has a fun and safe long weekend!

Northeast Texas Community College welcomes Artist Frank Herbert as the exhibiting artist for September.  His artwork will be on display beginning Saturday, September 2nd – Thursday, September 21st.  A reception will be held on Wednesday, September 6th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.
