Applying to NTCC is always free
Northeast Texas Community College does not charge an application fee. Students may apply using the NTCC Online Application or through the common application available through ApplyTexas and MyTexasFuture.
During Texas Free College Application Week, participating Texas colleges and universities may waive application fees for eligible applicants. Because NTCC does not charge an application fee, you can apply to NTCC at no cost throughout the year.

Your Steps to Enrollment
Follow these steps to get started at NTCC. Some requirements may vary depending on your age, previous college experience, residency status, or program of study.
1. Apply for Admission
Complete your application for admission to Northeast Texas Community College. There is no application fee.
2. Submit Your Transcripts
Submit official transcripts from your high school and any colleges or universities you have previously attended, as required.
3. Determine Your TSI Status
The Texas Success Initiative helps determine whether students are ready for college-level coursework in reading, writing, and mathematics. Some students may qualify for an exemption.
4. Complete Required Admission Items
Depending on your circumstances, you may need to submit test scores, provide bacterial meningitis documentation, establish residency, or complete other admission requirements.
5. Get Ready for NTCC
Learn what to expect as an NTCC student and become familiar with the tools and resources you will use throughout your college experience.
6. Register for Classes
Once your admission requirements are complete, take the next steps toward advising and registration.
