Every semester full-time and associate faculty in NTCC’s Division of Math, Physics and Engineering can select an outstanding student, who is exceptional in some way. For the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters, Mathematics Professor Dr. Jackie Johnston nominated Tasha Helena Gaspar of Lone Star.
Dr. Johnston explained that “Tasha is an initiative-taker, independently motivated, and never lacking in enthusiasm. Math has not always come easy to her; however, through hard work and determination Tasha has done extremely well in Introductory Statistics and College Algebra. A professor could not ask for a more dedicated, hard-working, and conscientious student.”
