Northeast Texas Community College is currently enrolling for its upcoming Professional Driving Academy (CDL training). The class meets June 27th through July 25th from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the NTCC campus. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in training for a lucrative new career in just one month.
“Our new CDL drivers are getting jobs with excellent pay and benefits right away. While the program is intense and requires a lot of commitment while you are enrolled, the return on your investment can be huge,” Jimmy Smith, NTCC Workforce Developer, said.
The four-week professional driving academy includes 160 hours of training and the cost includes the DOT physical, drug screen, MVR and CDL permit. Students spend 50 hours in the classroom and 110 hours on the road driving. The cost is $4,191 and financial aid may be available.
