NTCC is pleased to announce that JoAnn Rodriguez has been nominated for this week’s Summer Shout Out. JoAnn is the Secretary to the Math and Science departments. She frequently goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly in the MS building.

It is our pleasure to recommend JoAnn Rodriguez categorically and unequivocally for a Summer Shoutout. JoAnn has been part of the Math-Science department for over 15 years. JoAnn has gone the extra mile to organize the Math/Science faculty social events that promote a healthy, productive working environment. She sees to the needs of departments and instructors in mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering, and biology. JoAnn’s position requires her to become familiar with the language and concepts of financial transactions, budgeting, instructional materials, Business Office guidelines and much more. She has continually distinguished herself by displaying exceptional skill and commitment to learning the tasks presented and understanding the procedures necessary. JoAnn has stayed late for us several times through the years, helping with whatever is needed with no complaints. She is our “go-to” person for everything. JoAnn always has an answer or will find it promptly. She always answers emails quickly, many times, within a few minutes of sending. JoAnn is a major contributor to the math faculty’s longevity at NTCC! JoAnn makes our department better with respect to her to focus, drive, promptness, cheerfulness, and work ethic. She is more than a colleague and friend, she is family. JoAnn is more than deserving of this recognition!
