The NTCC EatBetter4Less program and History Department will co-host “The Journey from African Medicine to Soul Food & Food Tasting” with guest speaker Chef Kami Redd on Monday, Sept. 20 at 12:30 p.m. in Humanities 101 (community room). Redd is an herbalist, nutritionist and author who will take participants on a culinary journey from traditional African medicine to comforting African-American Soul Food. She will also explain how comfort can be utilized for healing. The event is free to attend.
