Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund winners announced

Twelve Northeast Texas Community College employees received a total of $15,473.86 in Whatley Employee Enhancement Grants for 2018. The Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund was established by James & Elizabeth Whatley specifically for NTCC employees to fund special projects and enhance educational opportunities that might fall outside the regular budget.

Each November, NTCC employees submit grant proposals for special projects for the upcoming year.† Projects are reviewed by a selection committee consisting of volunteers from the NTCC Foundation.† Recipients are then awarded funds from the Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant along with other private funds donated by individuals and businesses.
