Hanson-Sewell Center offers fall classes

The Northeast Texas Community College Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg would like to remind residents of Camp County and surrounding areas that a full slate of courses will be offered at the center this fall.

The majority of classes offered at the Hanson-Sewell Center are held in the evening in order to allow working adults a chance to take courses that fit their busy schedules. Fall classes begin Monday, August 24, but it is not too late to register.

"This center exists to provide residents of our area convenient access to college. Some people may not be aware that they can take classes and receive advising services right here in Pittsburg," Judy Jackson, Director of the Hanson-Sewell Center, said.

Classes offered this fall include: Sanitation and Safety, Beginning Keyboard, Introduction to Psychology, Technical/Business Writing, Principals of Accounting I and II, Introduction to Business, Principals of Macroeconomics, Business Computer Applications, Federal Government, Texas Government, US History I and II, Finite Mathematics, Business Calculus and Music Appreciation.
