The Amazing Race
Level: Beginning

Get ready to race around the world — without leaving campus! In this exciting, team-based adventure, kids will solve clues, complete wacky challenges, and test their physical and mental skills in a friendly competition. From obstacle courses to cultural games, every day brings a new destination and a new adventure. Who will cross the finish line first? Come ready to run, think, and have tons of fun!
Art 101
Level: Beginning

Get ready to let your creativity shine! In Art 101, young artists will explore painting, drawing, and mixed media through fun, hands-on projects. Each day brings something new -- from colorful masterpieces on canvas to imaginative doodles and design challenges. Just bring your imagination and get ready to have some fun making art you'll be proud to show off!

"MIC DROP"
Act, Dance, Put on a Show!!
Trained or first-time actors & dancers ~ come join in the fun and perform the fantastically fun story, "MIC DROP"! This two-week, fun-filled camp will teach acting and dance to kids ages 8 to 16 as they learn the basics of auditioning, scene blocking, choreography and develop a 30-minute musical to be performed the last day of camp on the Whatley Center stage for family and friends.
Auditions for parts will take place the second day of camp (we’ll get to know each other on day one and learn auditioning skills).
Every camper will be cast. Those cast as lead roles will be required to memorize lines each night in preparation for the next day’s rehearsal (no worries, you can do it!) Costumes and sets provided. Once registered, campers’ parents will receive an introductory email with all information regarding attire, snack break, performance time, and auditioning & line memorization tips. MIC DROP is a story about eight diva VoiceOver actors who battle it out for the hottest project in animated history, “The Duchess and the Dust Bunny!” (which is a version of Princess and the Pea). But there's a big problem! Their crazed director failed to mention that they're actually auditioning and have competition! Oh, and the director has no idea what she's doing! Characters include: Roz Gitterdone, Swoozie Tixtoxic, Bonia Sanchez, Dulce Nova, Victor Vitale, Snoots McGrath, Simone Crawford, Lace Nodbody, Director Marta Scorezzi, Assistant Mrs. Merriweather, Costumer Edith Mackie and many more!

Culinary Craziness

Welcome to Culinary Craziness, where young chefs embark on an exciting adventure! This hands-on cooking class is specially designed to ignite children's passion for food while nurturing their culinary skills in a fun and interactive environment.
Led by experienced chefs, this class introduces students to the wonderful world of cooking through a series of engaging activities and delicious recipes. Throughout the course, budding chefs will learn essential cooking skills such as chopping, mixing, and baking, all while discovering the importance of kitchen safety and hygiene.
DIY Crafts using Canva
Level: Beginning
Teacher: Karen Andrews
Put your creativity into overdrive! This class will utilize your artistic skills in developing t-shirts, keychains, cups, and more. Students will learn graphic design using Canva as well as using a Cricut, heat press, and sublimation machines. Students will bring their digital art to life!
Drones 101

Here’s your chance to find out! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of drone operation, important safety rules, and flight techniques. But that’s not all — you’ll also get to program your drone to complete fun challenges and navigate an obstacle course. Come ready to explore new technology, solve problems, and have a blast along the way!
E-Sports

Do you love gaming? Take it to the next level! In this exciting class, students will explore the world of e-sports while learning teamwork, communication, and strategy. Kids will practice working together in popular, age-appropriate games, analyze winning strategies, and learn what it takes to be a great teammate both on and off the screen. It’s not just about playing — it’s about thinking, collaborating, and leveling up together!
Experiments Gone Wild
Level: Beginning

Do you like to try different experiments and see what happens? This course will bring out the scientist in you. You will create splash experiments, mix it up experiments and do some crazy physics tricks. Be prepared to get a little messy. New experiments each year.
First Responder Academy

Firefighters, EMS providers and law enforcement professionals are the first responders that work together to help save lives every day. Does your child want to learn about saving lives and has an interest in learning more about firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS) or law enforcement?
NTCC Kids Discovery College is hosting a fun, interactive and educational first responder academy. During the eight day academy, middle and high school students will learn from professionals who work and train as first responders in our community.
Students will learn about and participate in activities related to:
EMS Operations: emergency scene scenarios, vital signs, CPR, Stop the Bleed (a national awareness campaign)
Police Operations: Fingerprints, Intro to crime scene investigations, police dogs (K-9), self-defense, gun safety, cyber bullying/internet safety,
Fire Operations: Fire extinguisher safety and training, firework safety scenarios, smoke ventilation, emergency rescue

Robotics
