Minimum Salary: Starting at $566 per course or $56 per student |
Description of Job Duties:
- Provide instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses modalities as needed
- Communicate regularly with students, staff, and administrators regarding student progress
- Use text messaging and other social media platforms to contact students
- Encourage and advocate for students
- Consistently encourage persistence, career exploration, transfer, and baccalaureate goal
- Maintain clearly communicated and comprehensive notes and data on students in electronic files
- Provide hands-on guidance, feedback, and support to students; providing positive reinforcement and encouragement
Experience and Other Qualifications Required:
- Requires a Master's degree in a related, approved field
- Previous experience providing classroom instruction preferred
- Basic knowledge of Blackboard learning platform a plus
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment and experience working effectively with culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse students, faculty/staff, communities, and organizations
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivated
- Ability to relate well with other faculty/staff/administrators
- Computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
