Gilbert Wilson gives $1,000 for NTCC scholarships

Mr. Gilbert Wilson (right), of Pittsburg, recently gave $1,000 to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (left), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement, is pictured receiving the donation. The gift will go toward the Wilson Family Scholarship, which is named in memory of Mr. Wilson's parents. The perpetual scholarship provides deserving NTCC students scholarships each year. Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to announce a new education and career resource partnership with real estate educator, The CE Shop. This exciting new partnership will provide our students with exclusive access to a one-stop-shop education platform featuring Pre-Licensing, Exam Prep, Post-Licensing, and Continuing Education packages for all 50 states and D.C.

Farmer's market today

The NTCC Agriculture Department is hosting another Farmer's Market today (Friday, July 9) at the Ag Complex from 9 a.m. until sellout. In addition to lots of great farm items and vendors, the Ag Department is selling chicken tamales: $1 ea, 6 for $5 or Dozen for $10. Food will be ready at noon. Farmer's Markets are also planned for July 16, 23 and 30.

Summer Shout Out: Dr. Jonathan McCullough & Team

NTCC is pleased to announce that Dr. Jonathan McCullough (Executive Vice President For Advancement) and the development team have been nominated for this week’s Summer Shout Out. Dr. McCullough and his staff raise funds for the NTCC Foundation and award scholarships and other assistance to students in need (along with many other duties).

Congratulations, Dr. McCullough, Lori Hunter and Nita May! We appreciate all that you do to support the mission of NTCC.

Check out the NTCC virtual tour

Did you know that NTCC now has a virtual tour? Prospective students and community members can get a 360look at the campus without leaving home. In addition to a guided tour, there are separate virtual experiences for the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program, Community Room (UHS), Cosmetology Program, Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Ag Center, Fitness Center, Funeral Services Program, Health Science Simulation Lab and Whatley Center. We plan to add more virtual tours in the near future.
