The NTCC Film Club kicked off its Spring Film Series this Thursday. The series will include films by John Ford, the only director to win the Oscar for Best Direction four times (and who, along the way, made John Wayne a star). This week's feature was the western classic Stagecoach.
Film Club meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Humanities 129. The following films will be shown at upcoming meetings:
- March 13th: Grapes of Wrath
- March 27th: The Quiet Man
- April 3: The Searchers
The Film Series is free to attend and refreshments are available for a small fee. Some faculty members offer extra credit for student attendance, so check with your professors to see if this is an option. To learn more about the Film Series or Film Club, contact Julie Ratliff at jratliff@ntcc.edu.
