We are excited to host the Arrive Alive Tour on the NTCC campus Monday, March 10th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in front of the Student Union Building (SUB). This interactive event brings awareness to the dangers of impaired and distracted driving through a high-tech simulator that provides a firsthand experience of how dangerous these behaviors can be.

The Arrive Alive Tour is a nationally recognized program that uses virtual reality, simulators, and engaging educational materials to demonstrate the real-life consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as texting while driving. Students will have the opportunity to experience impaired and distracted driving scenarios in a safe, controlled environment while also receiving important safety information from experts.

"Drunk driving and texting while driving is a huge problem for both teens and adults alike. It is heartbreaking how many families have lost love ones too soon because of something so preventable. I encourage our faculty, staff and students to participate in this event and help spread awareness of this critical issue," Elizabeth  Bailey, Criminal Justice Faculty and event organizer, said.

There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. To learn more about the program, visit arrivealivetour.com
