The annual NTCC Student Art Show is April 5-24, 2018. This is a call for ALL students to bring their art to share with the college community.

Alpha Mu Chi, Northeast Texas Community College?s chapter of Phi Theta†Kappa, earned national acclaim as one of four chapters to win the 2018 Honors Case†Study Challenge competition. Tied to the larger Phi†Theta Kappa Honors in Action research project, the Case Study Challenge†competition gives chapter members an opportunity to focus their attention on a†specific area of study.
The challenge encourages individual members and†chapters of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society to use newspapers as a study aid and to remain aware of current events.
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Baseball team is off to a hot start in conference play. The Eagles currently sit near the top of the conference with a 3-1 record.† They swept a three-game series against Bossier Parish Community College this past week.
The Eagles shutout the BPCC in the first game 4-0.
Our friends at A&M-Texarkana are hosting a PLACE lecture on our campus presented by our very own Dr. Kevin Rose on March 20.
The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on March 29th, the theme will be Hello Spring.
The menu will include yeast rolls, roasted tomato-basil soup, chicken Cordon Bleu with supreme sauce, green bean bundles, and wild rice pilaf. Dessert will be Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing.
The dinner will be held at the NTCC Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 19th.
Springfest Week is a great†opportunity for students to confirm and celebrate their decision to attend†Northeast Texas Community College. The week also provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to enjoy conversations that will lead to relationship building outside of the classroom. Northeast Texas Community College students will soon have two new degree options as the NTCC Board of Trustees approved associate of applied science degrees in Health Studies and Healthcare Management at its regular meeting Tuesday evening.
These new degree tracks combine a variety of courses already offered at NTCC.
